Council President Cherry was elected to his current seat in 2014. He serves as the Chair of the Zoning & Planning Committee, and the Public Safety & Criminal Justice Reform Committee, Vice-Chair of the Streets, Public Services & Utilities Committee, and member of the Regional Growth, Development & Small Business Enterprise Committee.
