Landfill Free Disposal Days

The City of Toledo is sponsoring four free disposal days at the Hoffman Road Landfill. Lucas County Residents will be permitted to bring a truck/ trailer of bulky solid waste items for free, subject to the terms and conditions. A valid drivers license will be required to verify proof of residency. No free commercial disposal. Residential Disposal Hours: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Entry will not be permitted from Matzinger/Schwartz Road(s).
- The city reserves the right to refuse any loads that are deemed to be unfit.
- Solid Waste employees will be on site to verify residency, load contents, and direct residents. You will be responsible to unload your own vehicle. No manpower or equipment will be available for assistance.
Landfill Requirements
- Only cash is accepted
- All loads are subject to inspection and measurement.
- No refunds are permitted.
- All residents are required to sign a declaration of Items disposal form.
- See scale house attendant for items that are not acceptable.
- The City is not responsible for bodily injury or vehicle damage.
- The City reserves the right to refuse any load or item that may be deemed unacceptable or unsafe.
Basic Solid Waste Disposal Fees
The base fee will be rounded to the nearest cubic yard for charges, only cash is accepted. Proof of City of Toledo or Lucas County residency is required.

No commercial or tire dealers permitted.
